Senior Pastor - Pastor John Worrall

Pastor John Worrall is a second generation pastor and the first US citizen in his family. His parents emigrated from England to Canada and then to New York. Pastor John was born in Newark NJ, May 11th, 1953.

Pastor John received Christ as his personal Savior on July 4th, 1962, at a Bible conference in Montrose, Pa. He writes “It was my Independence Day from sin & death.” After his junior year of high school and while spending a week at camp at LeTourneauChristian Camp on Canandaigua Lake, God called John into the ministry. He had hoped to become an architect but the Lord wanted him “To build lives not buildings.”

While home to work and save money after a half year at Baptist Bible College, Pastor John caught up with a friend from high school, Alice Tee. He writes “She was Roman Catholic but seeking the Lord.” Alice accepted Christ after exchanging letters with John’s Father and reading the bible, especially Romans. Pastor John and Alice Tee were married a year and a half later, on May 12th, 1973. Pastor John writes “ God gave me the right woman and we have been united in Christ for 37 years. She loves Christ, has a beautiful voice, is a good bible teacher, a great cook and a wonderful mother to our 6 children.” Pastor John’s and Alice’s children are Joel, Steven, John Jr., Thomas, Alice and Phillip. All of the children grew up in Christian school. Christian education is a passion of Pastor John, he promised God that they “would go with out eating to give our children a Christian Education” and he has never missed a meal.

Pastor John was ordained to the ministry on May 6th, 1973 by the Clarence Evangelical Church, Clarence Center, NY. He describes himself as an expository preacher, that he loves ‘to open up a passage and really unpack it.” He feels that “worship should be thematic, supporting and confirming the ministry of the Word of God” and prefers a blended style.

Pastor John has taught an Old Testament Survey Class at The State Correctional Institution at Albion, Pa for the last 16 years. He has also Provided weekly morning rush hour devotionals called “Power Up” for WCTL-106.3 FM. He and Alice are both singers, she a contralto and he a baritone. Their motto is Psalm 104:33 “ I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while have being.” He also enjoys woodworking and basketball. Alice enjoys cooking, sewing and gardening.

Associate Pastor - Pastor Keith Hartlaub

Keith joined our staff in March 2007 and was ordained by the Mount Wolf Community Church on October 24, 2010. Pastor Keith is our Associate Pastor of Worship and Outreach. In addition to his various administrative tasks, Pastor Keith is our song leader and plans our weekly and special worship services. He is also in charge of assimilation of new members, heads up our bi-monthly evangelistic movie night outreach, and communicates with our missionaries in the field and when they are home on furlough. He also preaches occasionally when our Senior Pastor is away and aids him with visitation and other pastoral care responsibilities. When not at church, Keith is a stay-at-home Dad, a distance learning student at Moody Bible Institute, has a passion for Greek, Hebrew, anything Jewish, and trips to Israel. He and his wife Olivia have four beautiful children: Owen, Ethan, Lincoln, and Amelia June.

Founding Pastor- Dan Dellosso

The Mt. Wolf Movie Theatre (as everyone seems to know it by) opened in 1946. It then reopened in 1993 as The Mt. Wolf Gospel Arts Theatre. Owner Jud Wagner donated the theatre to Oak Grove Baptist Church of Bel Air, Md. Several Oak Grove's singers and ministries enjoyed friendship with the Wagner's and Dellosso's. They knew Reverend Dan Dellosso had aspirations to be a senior pastor one day so they asked him to lead a new church in the theatre. (Dan was serving as an associate Pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Hanover.)"I'm living my dream,"Dellosso said, "I always knew the Lord called me to be a pastor. I just didn't know how it would happen. When they asked me to be the pastor, I just broke down crying."

Mount Wolf Community Church held its first official service on January 10, 2004 with it's founding pastor, the Reverend Daniel W. Dellosso. After 5 years of faithful service, Pastor Dan, as we all know him best, had to step down due to health reasons. Under him, Mt. Wolf Community Church became a church with a passion for Christ and a compassion for others. He truly lived by what he taugh: "Love God and Love People” (Matt. 22:36-40)"
